மென்மையான மயில் இறகே ஆனாலும், வண்டியில் அளவுக்கு அதிகமாக ஏற்றினால் அதன் அச்சு முறிந்துவிடும் என்ற உவமையை மட்டுமே கூறி, எளிய பகைவரே ஆனாலும் ஒன்று கூடினால் பேராற்றல் மிக்க அரசையும் வீழ்த்திவிடுவர் என்பதை உணர்த்துகிறார். — Valluvar only mentions that even soft peacock feathers will snap a heavy axle if piled beyond measure. He leaves the ruler to deduce the terrifying political truth: even gentle, seemingly weak enemies will shatter an empire if they unite against tyranny.

பீலி பெய் சாகாடும் அச்சு இறும்= பீலி ஏற்றிய சகடமும் அச்சு முரியும்; அப்பண்டம் சால மிகுத்துப் பெயின்= அப் பீலியை அது பொறுக்கும் அளவின்றி மிகுத்து ஏற்றின்.
