வேண்டுதல் வேண்டாமை இலான் அடி சேர்ந்தார்க்கு = ஒரு பொருளையும் விழைதலும் வெறுத்தலும் இல்லாதவன் அடியைச் சேர்ந்தார்க்கு; யாண்டும் இடும்பை இல = எக்காலத்தும் பிறவித் துன்பங்கள் உளவாகா.

Parimelazhagar explains that for those who surrender their thoughts to the feet of the Divine who is entirely free from attachment and aversion, sorrow never arises at any time.
