பெருமை பெருமிதம் இன்மை= பெருமைக் குணமாவது, காரணம் உண்டாயவழியும் அஃது இயல்பாதல் நோக்கித் தருக்கின்றி இருத்தல்; சிறுமை பெருமிதம் ஊர்ந்து விடல்= சிறுமைக்குணமாவது, அஃது இல்வழியும் அதனை ஏற்றிக்கொண்டு தருக்கின் முடிவின்கண்ணே நின்றுவிடுதல்.
