(இதன் பொருள்) பற்று அற்றேம் என்பார் படிற்றொழுக்கம்= தம்மைப் பிறர் நன்கு மதித்தற் பொருட்டு, 'யாம் பற்றற்றேம்' என்று சொல்வாரது மறைந்த ஒழுக்கம்; எற்று எற்று என்று ஏதம் பலவும் தரும்= அப்பொழுது இனிதுபோலத் தோன்றுமாயினும், பின் 'என் செய்தேம் என்செய்தேம்' என்று தாமே இரங்கும்வகை, அவர்க்குப் பல துன்பங்களையும் கொடு க்கும்.
