தறுகண் பேராண்மை என்ப= பகைவர்மேல் கண்ணோடாது செய்யும் மறத்தை நூலோர் மிக்க ஆண்டன்மை என்று சொல்லுவர்; ஒன்று உற்றக்கால் ஊராண்மை அதன் எஃகு (என்ப)= அவர்க்கு ஒரு தாழ்வு வந்ததாயின் கண்ணோடி அது தீர்த்துக் கோடற்பொருட்டு ஊராண்மை செய்தலை நூலோர் அதற்குக் கூர்மை என்று சொல்லுவர்.
